Living Sacrifices
We spent all Fall quarter talking about the unchanging character of God - his compassion, his inclusion, his sacrifice, his great love for us. So, in view of what we talked about Fall quarter - in view of God’s kindness, compassion, and mercy...how are supposed to live?
“…offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship.”
The right response to the mercy of God is doing what Jesus did: laying down His life for the cause of God. Offering ourselves as sacrifices that are still alive, in service to the God who made us, rescued us, and now wants to lead us in joining the rescue movement.
